ByteDance in talks to buy 50,000 inference GPUs from China's Iluvatar CoreX

ByteDance is negotiating to purchase at least 50,000 inference chips from Shanghai-based Iluvatar CoreX and weighing Baidu Kunlunxin silicon too, which would make Iluvatar its third domestic GPU supplier after Huawei and Cambricon. A marker of how fast Chinese hyperscalers are routing inference off Nvidia.
