SAP API Policy enforcement begins, gating autonomous AI agents from S/4HANA

From 9 June, SAP Note 3255746 patches block unpermitted ODP/RFC and custom-gateway calls by autonomous AI agents. Agentic access to SAP business data must now route through SAP-endorsed pathways (MCP Gateway on Integration Suite, Joule Agent Gateway, or Business Data Cloud + Delta Sharing).
