FCC Adds Chinese Humanoid Robots and Grid Inverters to Its National Security Covered List

The Federal Communications Commission placed new Chinese humanoid and quadruped robots, along with connected power inverters, on its Covered List, blocking their import and sale in the US immediately upon publication. The move cites documented backdoors in hardware already deployed at universities and is aimed at protecting the US AI infrastructure buildout from supply chain disruption.
