Over 1,100 AI Staff Petition the US to Support International Pacing of Automated AI Research

Employees from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and roughly a dozen other AI firms signed an open letter urging the US government to back an international effort to deliberately pace the frontier of automated AI development.
