Anthropic in talks to lease $10 billion in compute from Meta

Anthropic is in early talks to lease roughly $10 billion of AI computing capacity from Meta over two years, weeks after a similar arrangement with SpaceX, according to the New York Times. The talks show how far frontier labs will go to secure compute, and put Meta in the odd position of renting capacity to a direct rival.
