NeuroVFM, an open neuroimaging foundation model, beats frontier models on clinical tasks

Published in Nature Medicine, the University of Michigan NeuroVFM model was trained self supervised on 5.24 million clinical MRI and CT scans and surpasses proprietary and open frontier models on radiologic diagnosis and report generation, using under 1,000 GPU hours.
