Meta launches Muse Spark 1.1 and starts charging for its own model API

Meta Superintelligence Labs shipped Muse Spark 1.1, a multimodal agentic model with a 1 million token context, and opened the paid Meta Model API at $1.25 input and $4.25 output per million tokens. It is Meta first paid model API and speaks both OpenAI and Anthropic formats, a sharp pivot from open weights.
