UN opens its first Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva

Secretary General Guterres warned that AI is advancing at runaway speed and called for common safety standards, human rights red lines, and greater transparency, as Estonia and El Salvador were named co chairs of the new intergovernmental process.
