Anthropic moves to close loopholes Chinese firms use to reach Claude

The Financial Times reports Ant and ByteDance tapped Claude through Singapore entities, VPNs and cloud subsidiaries, and Anthropic will now watch time zones and usage patterns to shut down these transfer stations.
