Couchbase launches the AI Data Plane as an operational data foundation for agentic enterprises

Couchbase made its AI Data Plane generally available, unifying persistent agent memory, an agent catalog, and a self managed MCP server with sub millisecond context retrieval from cloud to edge. It targets production agents that must hold state across sessions and restarts.
