Austria urges the EU to host Anthropic after US export curbs cut off frontier access

Austria asked the European Commission to explore establishing Anthropic inside the EU after US controls on Fable 5 and Mythos 5 cut European users off from the lab top models. The push frames sovereign access to frontier AI as a strategic priority for the bloc.
