Runpod hits a $1B valuation with a $100M round as the agent compute crunch bites

Summit Partners led a $100M round valuing GPU developer cloud Runpod at $1B, after annualized revenue doubled to about $240M. The company says it rejected buyout offers above $500M to stay independent.
