Anthropic launches Claude Tag, a persistent AI teammate inside Slack

Anthropic released Claude Tag, replacing its Slack app with a shared, persistent agent that teams delegate work to by typing @Claude. It remembers channel context, works asynchronously over hours or days, can act proactively, and ships in beta for Enterprise and Team customers on Opus 4.8.
